Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Droitwich.

The incident happened between 6:45am and 7am on Wednesday, 13 June, when a 28 year-old woman was assaulted by a man on the canal tow path in the area behind the Barley Mow Pub on Hanbury Road.

The victim sustained injuries to her face and neck, and was left shaken following the assault.

The man is described as white, aged between 28 and 30 years old, 6ft tall, of a slim build with black hair and pale skin, wearing a black hoody top zipped up with its hood up.
