West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision on Roman Road last Thursday (July 19).
The ambulance service were also in attendance at the incident, which happened at around 3.30pm.
The incident involved a HGV that collided with a pedestrian.
A 28 year old man was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Officers are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dash cam to come forward as enquiries continue.
PC Paul Bosley said: “To help with our investigation we’re keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any other information that could help with our enquiries.”
