The Go Bright for Sight 5K Colour Run is returning to Droitwich for the fourth year running on Sunday, July 1, at a new and exciting venue – Churchfields Farm, Salwarpe.
Participants can run, jog, walk or dance their way through multi-coloured paint stations and encounter a bubble disco and super soakers! Starting off dressed in white, by the end everyone will be covered in brightly coloured paint and smiles, having raised money for local sight loss charity Sight Concern Worcestershire. The event is open to all ages.
Gillian Kerton from Churchfields said: “My family has been farming this land for five generations and we’ve always believed that community spirit is important. We are thrilled to host such a happy and memorable event that brings friends and families together to have fun and raises funds for a special local charity.”
The Go Bright for Sight Colour Run is open to all ages – walkers and runners. Last year over 500 people took part in Droitwich and the charity raised over £6,000. Anyone with a visual impairment is particularly welcome. Sight Concern will find sighted guides to enable people with sight loss to participate, and be an active part of their local community.
